License Renewal is 2024! – What You Need to Know

Brokers – License renewal deadline is March 31, 2024

What you need – Brokers must show proof of 24 hours of continuing education credit, which must include the 4-hour Mandatory course and the Vermont State Energy Goals class. (Note: New brokers renewing for the first time are not required to complete the 24 hours of CE for their first renewal. However, new brokers must complete the Vermont State Energy Goals class. Renewal process

  • Complete the Vermont online renewal application here.
  • Pay the non-refundable renewal fee
  • Show proof of CE credit (Note: If you completed classes through VAR, you can download your CE certificates here.)

Salesperson – License renewal deadline is May 31, 2024

What you need – Salespersons must show proof of 16 hours of continuing education credit, which must include the 4-hour Mandatory course and the Vermont State Energy Goals class. (Note: New salespersons are not required to complete the 16 hours of CE for their first renewal. However, you must show proof of completing 8 hours of post-licensure education within 90 days of your license being issued and you must complete the Vermont State Energy Goals class.
