Vermont Energy Goals Requirement Explained

Important Facts

  • The slideshow appears inside the OPR license renewal program when you are renewing
  • You do not need to register separately
  • You do not need to upload proof of reviewing the slideshow
  • It is NOT a CE course

The slideshow is required for license renewal
During the online renewal process on the OPR site, you will be directed to view the Vermont Energy Goals presentation. Simply review the slides and follow the prompts to confirm completion. Once finished, you can continue and submit your renewal.

It is NOT a class and does not provide CE credit
You do not need to enroll in anything or upload proof. Viewing the slideshow within the renewal system satisfies the requirement.

An OPTIONAL course is available through VAR
The Vermont Association of REALTORS® offers an online (on-demand) energy course that covers similar material in greater depth and provides continuing education (CE) credit. This course is completely optional and is only needed if you want an in-depth look at Vermont’s energy goals, or if you need to earn CE hours.
