VAR ADVOCACY LEADERS
The Vermont Association of REALTORS® (VAR) is a strong and respected voice for real estate at the Vermont State House. VAR’s Government Affairs Committee (GAC) works closely with the Government Affairs Director to monitor legislation, discuss emerging issues, and help guide the association’s advocacy efforts. Each local Board of REALTORS® appoints a representative to the GAC, ensuring REALTORS® across Vermont have a voice in the legislative process.

FEDERAL POLITICAL COORDINATORS
Federal Political Coordinators (FPCs) serve as the REALTOR® voice on Capitol Hill, building relationships with members of Congress and advocating for federal policies important to real estate.
Vermont’s three FPCs work directly with the state’s congressional delegation, communicate REALTOR® priorities, support NAR Calls for Action, and participate in congressional visits during the annual NAR Legislative Meetings.
