Review Process

After an application is submitted, it is reviewed at the next Member Engagement Committee meeting, held on the third Tuesday of each month.

A committee member is assigned to conduct reference calls using a standard set of questions. Final decisions are made after references are completed. Applicants are notified once a decision is reached, and awards are reported to the Board of Directors at their next meeting.

Please allow up to eight weeks for the full review process.

Scholarship awards are provided as reimbursement after the approved event or education has taken place and required documentation has been submitted.

Reimbursement Requirements

To receive scholarship funds after attending the approved leadership event or educational program, recipients must provide:

• Confirmation of attendance at the event or education
• Receipts for eligible travel or meal expenses, if applicable
• A brief report about the experience, which will be shared with local and state Boards of Directors. A template will be provided.
