DESCRIPTION:The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) was developed to promote and maintain a high level of public trust in appraisal practice. The standards have enhanced the role of the appraiser in society and reinforced the appraiser’s obligations to act in a manner that promotes public trust and confidence in appraisal services.  USPAP reflects the multifaceted nature of our profession. Changes to USPAP are a result of changes in the appraisal profession, as well as the changing needs of clients.
