Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing Class

The Vermont Association of Realtors® (VAR) pre-licensing class is approved by the Vermont Real Estate Commission as a prerequisite for applying for a Vermont real estate license. The key to passing any exam is not knowing the most information but knowing the right information. VAR employs instructors who are the benchmark of quality for test preparation.

In order to become a licensed real estate agent in the State of Vermont, three things are required:

  1. Complete a 40-hour prelicensing course
  2. Pass the national and state exam
  3. Be affiliated with a Vermont-licensed principal broker/office

More information about Vermont’s real estate exam testing can be found here.
