Vermont Realtors® has selected Julie Citron as its 2017 Realtor® of the Year (ROTY). VR’s ROTY award honors Realtors® who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership as real estate professionals and as members of their community.
Julie is co-owner of RE/MAX Four Seasons in Manchester Center, VT. She is a member of the South Central Vermont Board of Realtors® (SCVBR).
Julie and her husband, Dave, manage their brokerage following strict business principles.
“We always strive to do what is in the best interest of our clients and customers (care and disclosure), all while following the Realtor® Code of Ethics, including obedience, responsibility and accountability.
In 2013-14, Julie served as SCVBR’s first Community Outreach Chair, and helped spearhead the board’s success in community giving. Since that time she has been involved in SCVBR’s holiday basket and toy drives, collecting 20-30 baskets each year that are donated to families in need in their communities. Julie served as SCVBR’s Race for the Cure Chair from 2007-2009, and was awarded the 2008 Full Plate Award by SCVBR for her work as a dedicated volunteer. She led the board’s involvement in the Maple Leaf Half Marathon starting in 2014, and has also volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity Resale Store since 2015. She has been involved in leadership roles with the Dorset Players, the Dorset Parent Volunteers, and on the Christian Education Board of the Dorset Church.
Julie served as SCVBR President in 2015 and was involved in the revision of the boards policies and procedures. She also led the board through its first NAR Core Standards compliance. Julie has served as SCVBR’s Education Chair, and was named the board’s Realtor® of the Year in 2017.
